Baby Girl's First Halloween

Last last Monday was Halloween and all the teachers at my work were asked to dressed up. I looked for easy costumes to make because I didn't want to spend a lot of moneys on one. My coworker asked me if I could ask josh to come help set up for the Octoberfest carnival. I asked him if he could come and help since it was on a Monday when he doesn't have school or work. Anyways, he agreed and I jokingly said that he has to wear a costume. He surprisingly agreed. He has neither dressed up in a costume nor has he gone trick or treating ever. It's a peacock tutu! I spent a long time making it while he sat around and studied for his midterms and wrote a paper. After many hours and puns from josh, I completed the masterpieces! I dropped him off on Monday morning at a Starbucks near my work. He sat there for 5.5 hours waiting for me to get on my break so we could have lunch together. My director asked all the teachers to take their breaks indoors and supervise the children while others went outside to set up. Josh was devastated that I could not eat with him and he had to wander a couple of blocks over to help. Josh was definitely put to good use even though he felt like he didn't do anything great and that things didn't go as planned. I was glad he came along with me with the intentions of helping out and my students and parents were able to meet my fianceé. I also was happy he got to see my students. More than that, he made many people laugh at how silly he looked. See for yourself.
